Harlem Hunters Hire Outfit for Elk Hunt
A trio of Harlem big game hunters arrived Tuesday and engaged Slim Lestrud’s outfit to pack them into the mountains for an elk hunt. One hunter is Tracy Crooke, longtime friend of Dr. C W Boussard, whom they knew as boys in North Dakota. Crooke runs a hotel and oil business at Harlem.

Will Supervise Large Construction Jobs at Cut Bank and Sunburst

Sheriff race canvass in Teton county confirms Peterson lead
The county canvassing board certified results showing Albert O. Peterson with 1848 votes to Billings 954 and Dellno 825. Other totals include Bateman 1390, Conner 1252, Walker 322, and various party results plus measures 40 and 41. A recount request by Billings remains possible within five days.
