The program featured a four act school play America Remembers directed by Miss Ruby Miner, glee clubs led by Miss Janet Aldrich, and band music under Dr C W Boussard. George Carroll spoke on neutrality and education, and the event closed with taps and the Star Spangled Banner.

Training School Opens at Local Church on Nov 20
A leadership training school will be held at Chateau Methodist church from November 20 to 22 led by Rev. Horace Turner C L Clifford and others. Four courses cover church governance youth programs teaching children and parental issues. Classes run 7 30 to 9 30 pm with a Friday extra session and a pot luck supper. No registration fee. Twenty nine Teton chapter F F A members traveled to Dutton last Thursday to attend initiation ceremonies for the Dut ton Green Hands. Conrad chapter officers conducted the ritual and 22 Dutton students were presented with Green Hand emblems. A lunch was served by Dutton students. Smith Hughes work is new to Dutton high school this year with L. W. Burns as instructor.

Farm Home Near Cordova Burned
The Joe Ober family lost their farmhouse and a granary to a Sunday fire traced to an overheated stovepipe. Neighbors battled high winds, hauled water and snow, saved some belongings, but the structures burned with no insurance. The family stayed with relatives while locals planned further aid at Beck schoolhouse.

Contractors Setting Up Road Jobs in Teton County
Contractors in Teton County prepare to start three major road projects the Choteau Dutton road, the Choteau Augusta road and bridge work on the Choteau Augusta route. Nilsson Smith of Great Falls leads the road project with sub contractors, while B M Mannine of Hysham handles the $20 200 86 bridge contract. Teton Future Farmers plan a KFBB radio program to air on the 22nd or 23rd announced by advisor Herb Winner. They also schedule a Thanksgiving dance and a Parent son banquet and aim to fund a district meet at Chateau next spring with dances and entertainments. About 230 F F A members attended last year hosted by Walier, and organizers seek funds for a road meet for visiting schools.

Air Tragedy At Fort Shaw Claims Pilot and Passenger
A Barling monoplane crashed near Fort Shaw yesterday afternoon killing Walter Chalmers and critically injuring pilot John Mamuzich. Chalmers died at the scene, Mamuzich was hospitalized with multiple injuries including a possible skull fracture as investigators prepare to inspect the wreckage and an inquest is planned in Great Falls.

The Montana Taxpayer's association through I red Bennion lauds Teton county's finances noting a remarkable debt reduction record and reducing taxes since 1929. Delinquency numbers stem mainly from irrigation land payments with an expected adjustment. School costs are slightly above average but not abnormally high with per pupil costs listed for three high schools and elementary schools.
