Patrolman Helf Encounters Three Accidents in One Night
On Saturday patrolman Henry Helf responded to three accidents within ten hours. A 1953 Buick driven by Robert Kolste of Fairfield left the road near Free man's Corner on U S 89 and was cited for liquor impairment and license issues, bond set at 200 dollars. A 1956 Ford driven by Keith Pfeiffer of Valier skidded on Seven Mile Lane in icy conditions, citation issued for no license. A 1957 Ford driven by Roy Berthiaume of Avon blocked a narrow bridge on U S 89 after skidding, with minor injuries treated at Teton Memorial hospital. Berthiaume cited for careless driving. Earlier in the week Charles Marcoff of Great Falls ran off a road near the Teton Cascade county line, injuring bruises and forfeiting 150 dollars bond for DUI.
