Hunters Kill Bull Moose and Sell Trophy at Auction
A bull moose shot illegally on the Sun River headwaters was brought to town by Deputy Game Warden John Moore. The carcass, estimated at 400 pounds dressed, was dressed and sold in pieces at auction raising 28.60 dollars for the state. The hide went to Clark Coffey and the head to Elmer Cardell, with efforts to identify the perpetrators ongoing.

Pendroy Farmer Injured in Blackleaf Canyon Wooding Accident
A. G. Roberts of Pendroy suffered critical injuries when a load of wood in Blackleaf canyon toppled in the vicinity of his escape route. He was pinned under the load, breaking his hip and several ribs. Neighbors summoned help, Dr. H W Bateman treated him, and he was brought to Chateau hospital where his condition improved and recovery was hoped.

Hudson car sales span two towns in regional trade
J. B. Conlin and R. F. Baillie moved to Browning on Friday where Conlin sold a new Hudson to Joe Brown linked with the Indian service. On Tuesday Brown left for Billings to take delivery. Conlin, the local Hudson and Essex dealer, also sold the Judson car he had been driving to a Great Falls man.
