Montana Agricultural College reports Polander a grade Jersey cow purchased in Minnesota four years ago. After a year of pasture silage and roughage and oats bran feeds she produced 16289.1 pounds of buttermilk and 844.8 pounds of fat in a year, surpassing known records for grade cows and yielding an estimated net profit of 276.58 dollars after feed costs.

First Indian Allotment Patent Issued for Montana Lands

Brady Land Open Relinquishments Show Lands for Irrigation Project
The Teton Cooperative Reservoir company filed relinquishments for twelve to fifteen thousand acres in the Brady district at the Great Falls land office. Lands lie mostly east of Brady and are nonirrigable. the company retains about 55,000 acres for a perfected selection to be reviewed by the interior secretary within 30 to 60 days. Work to bring water will include a 25 mile main ditch and laterals, with a large reservoir already built near Bynum.
