Regular May 1919 session of the Teton County Commissioners in Choteau Montana approves hearings on the petition to create Herd District No.1. The board finds the district meets size and cultivation requirements and sets boundaries from the southwest corner of section 8 township 25 north range 6 west, continuing north along the west line.

Obituary for David Gray in Bozeman
David Gray son of Mrs. Charles W. Gray died in Bozeman on May 13 after a short illness from double pneumonia following influenza. He was 21, expected to graduate in chemical engineering in June. Survived by mother two brothers Robert and Wilson two sisters Mrs Ed Kirkaldie and Mary Gray. Funeral at Episcopal church led by Rev Haley, burial beside his father in Chateau cemetery.

Lieut Roger Burrell Re Turns Home From France to Chicago Post
First Lieutenant Roger Burrell arrived from France for a brief visit with his brothers and sisters before leaving for Chicago to join Chalmers Williams makers of mining machinery. He served 23 months in France, volunteered as an ambulance driver, then joined American forces and earned a first lieutenancy for bravery. He was twice awarded the Croix De Guerre for evacuating wounded under heavy bombardment. He plans to write the Acme newspaper about his France experiences for publication.

NC-4 completes first Atlantic air crossing to Lisbon
