Longtime Choteau Husky Service Changes Hands
Al Warneke Bays has officially taken ownership of Cliff's Husky Service in Choteau on the south side, keeping the same operation and bulk plant run by Cliff Hansen since 1946. Hansen plans semi retirement and says he will stay in Choteau part time while enjoying fishing. Warneke, a 20 year station veteran, previously ran Pendroy station and lived in Teton county since 1934.

Rev Marlow Engberg of Trinity Lutheran Church will give the Choteau Memorial Day address at Choteau Cemetery on Sunday May 30. Kenneth Sulgrove 46 died of a heart attack Tuesday after being stricken at Breen's Encor Station where he worked. Funeral services set for May 29 at 8 pm at Cho teau Methodist Church with Rev C Fred Grove officiating. Burial in American Legion plot, Choteau Cemetery, military graveside rites. Sulgrove, a Choteau native born November 15 1918, leaves his mother Christina McPherson and siblings James M John L Mary Chorpping Sadie Hood. He served as a sergeant in the Army Air Corps in World War II and was a service station operator and mechanic. Pallbearers listed.
