Wheat Reseal Program Ends May 31 in 1956 Policy
Chairman K E Sturgis of the Teton County ASC reminds wheat producers that May 31 is the final date for resealing 1956 crop wheat. The program allows loan extensions or conversion of purchase agreements to loans maturing March 31 1958 with 16 cents per bushel storage payments for full reseal. Producers redeeming loans earlier owe interest and lose pro rata storage credit. eligibility requires proper storage and sanitation, and applicants should visit their county ASC office promptly for inspections and paperwork before May 31.

Tresedder Funeral Held In Augusta
Thomas M. Tresedder, longtime Augusta area resident, died in a Helena hospital after a month of illness. Rev. A B Gravdal officiated at the funeral service Monday in Augusta. Survivors include three sisters and two brothers, all in Washington except Mrs Violet Goss of Augusta. He was born in Wisconsin in 1901 and moved to Montana as a child. The service was followed by burial in Augusta cemetery.

Ben Chalmers advances with an 84 by 100 foot brick garage and service station on Choteau's south side. The Choteau Garage will service large trucks with diesel and gasoline pumps, showrooms, office, parts room, and through access from the south entrance to a 100 foot through bay. Choteau Driver Escapes Injury In Train Collision
Mack Bruno twenty five of Choteau escaped injury when his stalled pickup on a Dutton railroad crossing was struck by a Great Northern freight train. He tried to push the vehicle clear but could not and abandoned it as the train collided, demolishing the truck. The truck belonged to a Great Falls man and was being used by Bob Swartzel prior to purchase.

John Jarolimek son of Mr and Mrs Joe Jarolimek Collins and brother of James Jarolimek Cha teau businessman authored an article in the March issue of The Arithmetic Teacher titled Quantitive Relationships in Social Studies. The piece spans four and a half pages and describes arithmetic as a constant helpful partner in understanding society with lessons on economic data and intelligent number literacy. Douglas Fir Planting Project Near Jones Creek
The U S Forest Service launches a 13 man crew to plant 50 000 Douglas fir trees over 53 acres about 30 miles west of Chateau on Jones Creek. Eleven workers are an Indian crew from Browning. Trees from Savenac Nursery in Montana. First planting east of the divide in the Rocky Mountains. Annual reforestation planned for Lewis and Clark National Forest areas needing rehabilitation.
