Farmington District 38 School Exhibit At Local Church
The Farmington Burton and East and West schools of district No 38 will host a program and exhibit at Farmington Norwegian Lutheran church on Sunday May 20 at 2 o clock. W S Murdock will deliver an address. The Farmington W A will serve lunch at noon. Charges are 25 cents for adults and 10 cents for children. The W A will prize cash awards to students for bread sewing and other school work.

New Laws Aim to Teach Agriculture in Montana Schools
The Montana legislature approved a law mandating agriculture in all public schools and requiring agriculture exams for teacher certificates. From July 1, 1920, applicants must have twelve weeks of normal training, with two six week summer sessions at any University of Montana institution. The Agricultural College summer session will provide the required training, and a rural life conference will accompany it in Bozeman July 12 to 14.

War Revenue Bill Expands Taxes to Raise Billions
The Ways and Means Committee proposes a sweeping War Revenue bill with duties on imports rising 10 percent, taxes on normally free goods, doubled income taxes, excess profits tax doubling, higher alcohol and tobacco levies, levies on newspapers, life and fire insurance, railroad and oil taxes, utility charges, and auto and amusements fees.
