Montana reports 1960 license sales for fish, game and turkey
Montana angler and hunter participation rose in 1960 with 224,834 anglers and 131,403 hunters. Resident licenses increased across bird and fish and big game, while non-resident licenses showed mixed gains and a drop in non resident fishing due to 1959 Madison county earthquake effects. Special turkey licenses jumped from 814 to 1,144.
