Young matron of Bynum Mrs Valinda Dornblaser 32 died of flu pneumonia a week after hospital admission. She was born in Everett Washington and raised in Bynum. Survivors include her parents sister daughter and former husband. Funeral held at the Methodist church with interment in Choteau Cemetery.

The Teton Bulldogs closed the 1936-37 season with two victories over Power 28 19 and Dutton 30 18 on consecutive nights. Moore sparked the offense, reserves added point for a 25 7 third period burst against Dutton, and Ashley Roberts led Dutton while Irshal Davis led Teton. The team finished 14 wins and nine losses, with two tournament losses in Great Falls.

Trial of Grain Suit Completed in District Court
A special term of the district court finished the trial of Rocky Mountain Elevator Co. versus E. M. Bammel W. W. Mitzel T. J. Cheetham and the Farm Credit administration. The case centered on ownership of about 1000 bushels of wheat stored at the company elevator in Bole. The court will consider evidence and issue briefs from attorneys.

All City Officials Set for Election This Year
At the regular council meeting plans were made for the annual municipal election on April 5. The law now requires a full slate of city officials including the mayor four aldermen and the treasurer to be elected while the clerk remains appointed. Polling places were designated and clerks and election judges appointed. The city will also vote on granting a franchise to Montana Dakota Utilities Co. Three alderman filings were noted for wards one and two. The council created Improvement District No 20 for a southwest sewer extension with no objections from residents. Permits were granted to relocate a house and move a garage, with routine claims approved.

First Amateur Boxing Practice Draws Local Interest
The Ameri can Legion sponsored first boxing practice at the high school gym with Dr C W Boussard as instructor. Ranging from boys to middle aged men, participants practiced noncontact drills before light sparring. Bantams Morris Lindseth and Hayden Buck Hynes led several others including George Loomis Julius Mozer Monte Berg Harold Walley Albert Dale Hatfield Rosenoren Arnold Neiswender Rolland Ferris and M S Bullerdick. Indoor track and showers followed as George A Carroll assisted. A next practice is planned for Tuesday with an intercity amateur program envisaged for spring and an elimination contest on March 27.
