Teton County High School Bull dogs coached by John Dunckel secured three wins in a 14 team district tournament at Great Falls to finish third. Fort Benton won the title with Fort Shaw as a strong finalist. Choteau edged Centerville for third. Schmitz scored 44 for the Bulldogs while Zupan led Centerville with 11 first half points.

Lions Aim to Bring Refuge Manager as Speaker
Arnold Hanusa of the Lions announces plans to bring Hull, manager of the Red Rock Lake refuge between Butte and Yellowstone Park, to speak at the Lions meeting March 28 during National Wildlife Week March 19 to 25. Hull, with Geo L Girard and two other state managers, attended a Detroit survey where he praised the trumpeter swan. Only about 150 of these swans exist in the United States, with several in Yellowstone Park.

Racketeers Open eight team tourney with CCC Sun River clash
At eight oclock tomorrow the Chateau Racketeers face the CCC quintet from Sun River in the first game of a eight team basketball tourney at the local high school gym. Dut ton meets Walter after. Saturday Conrad plays Simms and Brady faces Fairfield. Sunday the final four teams contest the championship. Season tickets are one dollar for all eight games and single admissions are 35 cents. Good Attendance at Farm Account Schools Held Last Week End
Farm account schools conducted by the extension service at Choteau Pendroy and Dutton on February 23 24 and 25 drew 85 participants. John C Bower and Frank J Kozeluh led the sessions using a farm account book for dictation entries and analysis. Mrs Marie Carlson wife of Leonard L Carlson died Tuesday night at 10 in Choteau Cho teau hospital after illness. She lived 27 miles southeast of Choteau in Teton county for 11 years, born in Sweden August 7 1883. She was 50 years 7 months 21 days old. Survivors include husband two sons Roy and Carl and a Swedish brother. Funeral at 2 pm Friday at Choteau M E Church with Rev R F E Vick officiating. interment in Choteau.

Walker, superintendent of Greenfield and Sun River irrigation projects, told the Lions at Sun River about project progress and goals with a map, noting a $600,000 grant in 1933 and total funding rising to $6,000,000.
