Liquor Evidence Evaporates in Montana Case Dismissal
In district court here the state failed to produce about 200 bottles of gin and whiskey tied to the State of Montana v C W Hower case. Former sheriff I S Martine testified the liquor vanished from a back jail cell and was not reported. The court dismissed the case after witnesses could not locate the evidence or prove its custody.

K. R. Smith of Farmington again leads Montana demonstration farms with 134 White Leghorns producing 1870 ergs at 13.9 average per hen in January. His record shows 45 percent production and feed averages of 0.1 lb meat or milk, 1.8 lb mash, 4.5 lb grain plus some green food. County Agent Robert Clarkson compiled the statistics with L. J.
