Centarian Passes Away at Conrad Home
Mrs. Helen R. Seekins aged 32 died at a Conrad home on Tuesday after a stroke Saturday. She is the grandmother of M Lee Hamer of Pendray and had lived in Farmington for two years. Funeral services are set for Sunburst Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock.

Mustard growers of the Triangle area will meet at Conrad June 22 for the annual meeting of the Northern Montana Mustard Growers cooperative. The firm runs the only exclusive mustard elevator in the world owned and operated by the growers. Officers urge patrons to attend and take part in the meeting after a fire dinner at noon.

Chateau Pool to Open Early July under Lions Club
The Chateau pool will open around July 1 with Rosemary Tennant as instructor and lifeguard for July and August. She is a UW physical education graduate, the first certified PE instructor at the pool, and will leave in September to direct Seattle's city recreational program. Joe Briscoe, who ran the pool last year, heads this season.

Phoebe Rhoads Passes Away in Everett Washington
Mrs. Phoebe Rhoads 47 widow of Dr Harmon T Rhoads of Chateau died in Everett after a short heart illness. Services were at Our Savior's Lutheran Church Everett with Rev Carl H Norgaard officiating. She was born September 18 1898 in Lewistown Utah and lived in Canada before moving to Chateau in 1914. She left four step sons and many relatives. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery Everett.

Fairfield voters pass a 50000 bond to construct part of a new grade school building. The measure received 130 votes for and 8 against. Corwin and Co. of Great Falls will be the architects.
