High School Principal Resigns for St Louis
Prof J H Murray recently elected principal of the county high school has resigned to accept a position in St. Louis. He came from Mendota Illinois to discuss his release with the school board. Prof B J Deane succeeds him, coming from Mendota ready to take the post after years as head of a local preparatory school. Deane is pursuing post graduate work at Chicago University. The new principal is married with one child.

Bounty Payments Under Scrutiny Rise Then Stabilize
State bounty officials warn the bounty program could strain finances if kept high for the year. The first three months of this year saw an average of nearly $15 000 monthly in claims, well above 1911 levels, prompting tighter controls at treasury and border counties to prevent improper payouts. In Teton county totals show 1911 payments at 37 323 and 1912 through April at 131 with unpaid claims at 1 056.
