Both games this season at Chateau have been wins with a fourth inning burst and a seventh inning rally sealing the victory. Earles miscued a key shortstop error but Chateau regroups to lead again before Petrini relieves. The late rally falls short as Chateau finishes strong.

Jess W Davis files for sheriff on Republican ticket
Jess W. Davis filed late Tuesday afternoon for the office of sheriff on the Republican ticket, bringing candidacies to ten. The 57 year old, who arrived in Teton county 37 years ago from Kansas, promises economy and efficiency. He previously served as deputy sheriff 1901 03 under George Taylor and 1905 under Sheriff Kenneth McKenzie, and has worked for George Burrell at the Club the past two years. He has ranching and Washington property interests and is brother to the late C H Davis and half brother to Dr H T Rhoades of Everett Washington.

Choteau Library Closes For Summer To Reopen In Fall
The Choteau public library shut yesterday for summer and will reopen this fall. The move was decided by the Choteau Woman's Club as a cost saving measure. Electric and gas services will be disconnected during the closure to save further funds.

Farmers and stockmen in Teton County will tour 4 H baby beef feeding sites on Thursday June 23. Plans include talks on feeding and catching demonstrations by 4 H club members.

Hirshberg Wedding Anniversary Celebrated at Home
Thirty six guests gathered at the Hirshberg home to honor Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Hirshberg on their 25th wedding anniversary.
