The board met in regular session June 3 4 5 6 1907 at the office and heard reports from county officials including clerk treasurer sheriff and superintendent of schools. Appointed educational examiners approved warrants and audited funds and road projects with hearings set for July 17.
Dupuyer updates report the burial of P A Prince of Conrad in Dupuyer cemetery with services by Father Phelan. Dr Charlies Burke from New Jersey has moved here to practice. The new Methodist minister Mr Hutt will conduct services next Sunday. Trachot horse round up is active locally with plans for Fourth of July celebration including horse races foot races baseball fireworks and a dance. Carl and Alfred Harris visit Helena and J W Quail leaves for the east due to his mother illness.

The Tort Shaw Indian school marks its fourteenth anniversary closing for the fiscal year on June 19 with an inspection of departments band concert drill athletics and a musical program. Superintendent F Campbell outlines a schedule including breakfast inspection literary and industrial events dinner a literary industrial and musical program a band concert and drill and athletic events. Visitors from the city and surrounding country stay with hay and stable room provided free of charge and meals for visitors are served by the Ladies Aid society of Sun River.

Five applicants were excluded for insufficient evidence of full eighth year work. They may reapply in August with credentials.

Dr Davidson a US stud inspector has recently inspected horses said to be affected by doctrine infection but finds no symptoms.
Mesdames Sterling McDonald Chas McDonald and K G McLean entertained the ladies on Industrial Wednesday in the church parlors. A satisfactory lunch of boiled ham creamed potatoes salad pickles bread and butter coffee and pie was served by the three hostesses and assistants. The crowd enjoyed the gathering. The hostesses are to be congratulated.
Harris vs Kropp favored Kropp while Neuman vs Woolman and Christian awarded the plaintiff 2000 dollars with a stay bond for a possible new trial. The plaintiff later accepted 1400 dollars. Neuman vs Sule T Christian settled out of court.
