Car Thief Nabbed Four Hours After Theft In Montana
Cecil Carney’s Buick sedan was stolen from his Teton ranch near Collins. James Sorrell, 18, was arrested in Helena after the theft was reported, with a loaded rifle stolen from the scene. Sorrell allegedly planned escape, was found with improvised weaponry, and held for trial.

Rites Today for Jesse F. Taylor Teton Pioneer
Funeral services for Jesse F. Taylor 69 pioneer rancher of Teton will be held Thursday at 2 pm from the Methodist church in Choteau. He died Tuesday at his home from heart trouble after a long illness. Burial will be in Choteau cemetery. Survivors include wife Jessie Florence Shields, daughters Margaret and Jessie F. Jr., a niece, and two brothers. He was a charter member of Alpha Tau Omega and had ties to ranching in Montana and Canada.
