Teton County High School Awards Contract for Upgrades
The Teton County High School board awarded a contract to Carl Schepen of Great Falls for a complete heating and water system with low pressure steam for the building. The project includes two dressing rooms with lavatories, gym showers, a laboratory lavatory, and basement carpenter work for flooring and engine and boiler room, coal bin, and gym. C W Wymer will supervise the basement carpentry. Completion promises a thoroughly up to date high school facility. The board also plans a modern quarter mile track and athletic grounds on campus following the team’s Missoula showing.

Fourth at Dupuyer Hosts Fest with One Accident
Dupuyer marked a lively Fourth with four horse and several foot races, fireworks, a dance, and a ball game that ended 21 to 20. Nellie Morgan’s horse fell into the crowd, Mort Steeley broke a leg and received medical care, while $70 was donated to him by spectators.

Freeman Wm Golder Dies in Montana Ranch Accident
Wm Golder a freighter between Conrad and Dupuyer and longtime county resident died Sunday June 30 near Armstrong ranch after his wagon hit a gate post causing him to be thrown or crushed. An inquest was held in Dupuyer and burial followed in the local cemetery. He was 46 native of Pennsylvania and leaves a wife and four children. He was an Odd Fellows member.
