The Montana Department of Public Welfare announces that most licenses for foster homes and day care centers for children under 18 are now obtainable from the state department or its branches. The program, under W. J. Fouse, sets new standards and carries no license fee. Margaret Scott will direct licensing with exemptions for adoptive and certain related or occasional care homes.

Funeral services for Christopher Alexander Hamilton 64 a Milwaukee section foreman were held at the Methodist church with Rev Andrew Olson officiating. Born in Ireland he came to Canada in 1907 to the United States in 1918 and settled in Teton county in 1927. Survived by wife and five children Anna Nelson Jennie Hanson Violet Certel and James Hamilton. One son Robert Hamilton is deceased. He had relatives in Seattle Ireland and Canada. The group held a well attended regular meeting with Du decline Pendroy and Bynum represented. a pack trip was tentatively planned and lunch was served by Claud Hensley.

Giant double egg amazes Pendray farmer
Dr W Johns of Pendray brought a Red Minorca hen's egg within an egg to the extension office. The single hen egg measured 10 inches in circumference and 8 inches across, weighed 9 ounces, and contained a second full egg.
