Eighth Grade Commencement Exercises Slated for Late July
Commencement exercises for 75 or more graduates from Teton county district schools will be held at Chateau late in July. The exact date and hour will be announced later. Wool Clip Nearing Completion in Teton County
The Teton County sheep shearings near finish with wool shipments to eastern markets expected this week. The average fleece weight is about nine pounds, with reports ranging from seven to thirteen pounds per head. Cold rainy weather slowed processing and reduced weights this season.

Board discusses boys dormitory and central heating plan
At the regular Teton County High School trustees meeting in Chateau the board reviewed plans for a boys dormitory and a central heating system serving both school and dormitory. They considered repairs to the gymnasium floor after high water, and a permanent drainage plan by City Engineer John W. Hall to prevent future damage. The gym floor will be re-laid after drying time, with action on future flood prevention expected soon. Routine matters and auditings occupied most of the session.

Great Northern Gets Big Cattle Shipment

Fire Destroys Cook Car Belonging to J A Baart
Fire nearly razed a cook car owned by J A Baart yesterday afternoon. Report says boys playing inside started the blaze. Firemen arrived quickly after four o clock, but damage was sufficient to render the tear useless. The car served in past years as part of Baart’s threshing equipment.
