Forest Ranger L. J. Howard received two letters from Glacier Park residents Harold Dawson and Tom Fontaine reporting Jack Carlisle missing since late hunting season. Carlisle, of Glacier Park Lubec country, may be dead in the Two Medicine river drainage after possibly wandering Elk Calf mountain or Skyland creek. Brothers from Buckley Washington and Turtle Mountain North Dakota plan to join next spring, while a searching party found no clues. Potential causes include accident, bear attack, falling timber, or accidental shooting.
