Four Birthday Balls to Aid Infantile Paralysis in County
Four birthday balls will be held in Teton county on January 30 in Dutton Fairfield Pendrey and Choteau to raise funds for infantile paralysis. Tickets are one dollar and valid at any dance with 70 percent of local proceeds directed to local anti p paralysis efforts. Local committees plan programs including a president address on radio a birthday cake and coffee.

County 4 H Valentine Party Set for Feb 15
The recreation committee of the 4 H club council decided to stage the second annual county wide 4 H club Valentine party at the county high school gym on Saturday February 15. Due to conflicts the 14th was not possible. Last year about 250 attended at the Ma sonic hall in Chateau. Clubs will be divided by communities for portions of the program and charters will be awarded with banner gold seal silver star or Standard honors by County Agent Fred Willson and Assistant County Agent Claude Wendocker of Fairfield.

Henry Dale and Del Andrews of the Chateau Implement Co. returned Friday night from Springfield Ohio after a 10 day caravan trip with four International trucks and two Terraplane cars. The group included 11 outfits from central distributing points and the Chateau men said the journey was surprisingly easy despite midwinter conditions.

Golden Wedding Date Observed by Quail Family
Relatives in Montana report Mr and Mrs James W Quail celebrated their golden wedding in Los Angeles California on December 2. They wed December 23 1885 at Sun River. The Quails lived in Dupuyer for years where Quail ran a store and was a leading cattleman. They moved to California for Mrs Quails health and have daughters Anna Gladys and Mrs Harrington plus grandson Margaret Jean Harris. They visited Montana last summer on their way from an Alaska trip.

The Teton County Shipping association received 7,011 pounds of turkeys last Thursday and shipped to Great Falls the next day. Social Study Club Hosts January Meeting
The January Social Study club met at Mrs. C. W. Boussard’s home with a business session followed by board games and refreshments. Members planned to aid the President’s birthday ball ticket sales with Mrs. A. B. Ramsey in charge. The literary and drama group met midweek for poetry readings and discussions. The last month’s social event was a Christmas party December 18 at T. O. Larson home, hosted by Mrs. Alva Law with Mrs. Dorothy Boussard as chair, described as an outstanding success.
