Teton high school beat Centerville 24 to 23 at Great Falls in the North Central district tournament. Teton started strong with an 18 9 halftime lead though flu weakened several players. Coach Ashley and Principal Williamson led seven players as substitutions were prepared for future games.

Milwaukee Plans Chicago Trip For 1926 Club Members
Milwaukee Railroad will again sponsor trips to the International Livestock Exposition and the Boys and Girls Club Congress in Chicago for 1926 club members. The 1925 participants from Teton County included Roy Hagness Ivan May and Henry Tomsha. The journey featured travel by train, visits to Field Museum, livestock shows, packing houses and mills, meals hosted by companies, and educational tours, ending with social evenings in Chicago.

A chapter of the American Legion Auxiliary is being organized in Choteau under Mrs. C. Denzel McDonald. Work began in 1920 under a temporary charter and a permanent charter will be granted soon. Miss Manda Lindseth Dies at Farmington
Miss Manda Lindseth thirty died last Saturday at the ranch four miles NW of Farmington after a long illness. Funeral services were held at the Norwegian Lutheran church with Rev Fijeseth officiating and burial in Farmington cemetery. Born in Miles City October 13 1895 she was the daughter of Mrs Belle Lindseth. Survived by four sisters and five brothers and a wide circle of relatives and friends. She studied music in Create Falls and Spokane Musical College before health failed in 1920 leaving her bedbound most of the time.

Fox Farmers Trap Bobcat on S. T. Ranch

About 389 people are registered and eligible to vote in Chateau’s city election set for Monday, April 5. County records show 207 men and 182 women on the list with Ward 2 containing more women (111) than men (101) and Ward 1 the opposite (106 men to 71 women). Ward 2 totals 212 voters and Ward 1 177. Some registrants have left town, so a full turnout could top about 360 votes.

Elk Policy Outlined At Chateau Banquet

Two Men Fined for Leaving Ranch Gates Open

Joe Rosette Buried After Long Illness At Chateau Cemetery
Joe Rosette, French Indian interpreter and old Montana scout, died after a long cancer battle last Wednesday night and was buried the following Thursday at Chateau Cemetery. He was about 75 to 80, survived by wife three sons Frank John Tom Rossette and two daughters Mrs. Chris Salmond and Mrs. Lizzie Brewster. He once interpreted for Jos Hirshberg and knew Fort Assiniboine country well in early frontier days.

Well Known Teton Pioneer Dies at Cut Bank
J. J. Honest John Miller, a Teton county pioneer dating to 1880, died last Saturday in Cut Bank. Born June 4, 1851 on Prince Edward Island, he served in the Northwest Mounted Police and later engaged in horse, mule, and sheep ventures across Montana, becoming a Cut Bank liveryman and county commissioner in early Teton history. He left three sisters surviving.
