Pupils and teachers celebrate Mrs Tubbs of Shantytown play
The public school community proudly announces the success of Mrs Tubbs of Shantytown a school play that drew solid attendance and raised over 80 dollars. Proceeds benefit the Junior Red Cross with 220 pupils paying 25 cents annual dues.

Great Falls Autoists Killed in Gilman Collision
Harley Hooker and George Hosier two well known Great Falls railroad men were killed when their automobile collided with moving train cars at the Gilman crossing near the depot. They died instantly as the train backed into the car and dragged the bodies about 50 feet before stopping. Other occupants escaped unharmed. Masons from Chateau arrived to assist and attend the scene.

Teton Defeats Conrad in Local Basketball Showdown
The Teton basketball team defeated Conrad 29 to 11 at Conrad last Friday in a rough but clear victory. About 100 Choteau supporters attended as Coach Dietrich plans to schedule a game with a smaller school next Friday and then travel to Lewistown for the tournament, with four teams already lined up: Lewistown Hobson Belt and Teton.
