Pioneer Woman Jennie Gibson Interred At Chateau
Jennie Gibson pioneer woman and wife of James Gibson died at Warm Springs after paralysis strokes. Born Jennie Fleetwood in 1865, she traveled from Iowa to Montana in 1888 and married Gibson in 1885. Services were held at the Masonic temple with Eastern Star rites and Rev. Dover officiating. Survived by multiple Stocker half-siblings and extended relatives, she had long been a local public figure in Chateau and Eastern Star.

Scouts observe anniversary with 100 attendees in Choteau
About 100 Boy Scouts, parents and leaders gathered at the Social Center last Thursday for the annual Scout anniversary. The event featured a bugler, songs, a banquet, talks on camp and life building in scouting, a Court of Honor with ten advancements, awards, and patrol plays, ending with closing remarks by Rev Rolls praising Scout work and community cooperation.

Five Attend Farm Shop School Despite Cold Weather
