General James B. Weaver, a former populist leader from twenty years ago, died at his Des Moines home on February 7. A large turnout of residents from Teton county and nearby towns gathered at Woodmen hall Friday night to honor the first settlers and celebrating old timers. An 18 year county residency qualified attendees for admission and a dinner followed the social in the dining room.
