A high school auditorium in Chateau drew about 700 people for the third annual minstrel show hosted by local business men. Mrs. John Gleason wife of John R. Gleason of this city died last Thursday at the state hospital Warm Springs where she had been a patient for a year. Funeral held Saturday at Warm Springs conducted by Rev Wuerts of Anaconda. Survived by husband two daughters one son from former marriage and four step-children.

Collins Kencher is Found Dead Near Collins Ranch
Charles A. Lieberlich, a farmer living two miles north of Collins, was found dead in his cabin Sunday morning by Fred Gewald and A. R. Thompson. Officials concluded natural causes, noting heart trouble and a hemorrhage. No inquest, body to Minneapolis for shipment. Lieberlich, born in Boston, had a large family and roots in Montana and Minnesota.

Malone Sells Six Hundred Steers to Great Falls Meat Co
Carl T. Malone of Chateau sold 600 head of beef steers to the Great Falls Meat Co, selected from 680 head. The cattle, two to three years old, averaged about 100 per head, fed on native hay and cotton seed cake. The firm will ship from Agawam within 30 days amid market forecasts of steady prices with possible volatility. An 8 pound boy was born to Arthur and Mrs. Greenhagen of Ashuclot, Steve Greenhagen’s first grandson.
