Drilling at the Campbell well near Farmington halted for days due to water supply failure and boiler freezing injuries. A shallow seepage well failed in severe cold as a water tank hauled water to the 3 inch well from city hydrants in Chateau. Drillers at Koyle resume soon with engine fuel oil arriving. Marion Edwards plans a rig near Great Falls and to ship gear to Bynum for W. D. Jones leases by June 1.

Coffey Jr the Chateau City Council extended fire limits north ward on Main Ave to include the Motor Mart and Woodman Hall blocks and the lots north of the Power Morgan building east.
