British Transport Tuscania Sunk Off Irish Coast
The Tuscania, a British transport carrying about 300 Americans including the 3rd American Flying Corps engineers and police, was torpedoed and sunk yesterday off the Irish coast after sailing from Boston two weeks ago. Most victims were from Michigan and Wisconsin with possible personnel from Camp Lewis. The ship was under British fleet command when lost.
