Lawrence Davis Teton Old Timer Dies in Everett
Lawrence Davis a longtime Teton county resident and former Club Saloon and Teton Exchange proprietor died Friday in Everett Washington at age 72. Born in Harvel NL he moved to Teton county in 1891 and later lived in Idaho Whidbey Island and Oak Harbor before settling on the coast. He is survived by his brother Jess Davis of Choteau and a brother Fd of Port Orchard.

Birthday Balls Honor Roosevelt on Saturday Across Four Venues
Birthday balls celebrating President Roosevelt's 55th birthday drew substantial crowds at Chateau Dutton Fairfield and Mountain View gardens Claude with about 61 at the door and many more pre sold. Revenues from Chateau Claude totaled around 150 with net near 100 Fairfield yielded 114 gross 81 net Dutton about 90 gross with net near 60 Claude and Fairfield crowds faced poor roads but attendance remained strong. Prizes included 50 cents for Esther Nordhagen and 50 cents for Norman Rosengren along with 25 cent awards for others. A candy sale by M. & Epworth league aided flood relief and a late night lunch topped the event.
