The company offers settlers stock, cattle, seed potatoes, and peas on favorable terms, with an agronomist stationed in Bynum to aid progress.

VETS LOSE GOVERNMENT INSURANCE IF UNCHECKED BY JULY
Helena Feb 3 The director of the U S Veterans bureau warns ex service men that the chance to carry a ten thousand dollar government life policy ends July 2 1926 if not exercised. About 546000 policies totaling nearly three billion dollars are now in force and a special service at the Helena regional office will help ex servicemen understand their rights and options.

State Retains 400000 Mines Tax Revenue
Helena January 30 The 60 day protest period for the new metal mines gross production tax expired without suits against the state treasurer. About 400000 was paid by nine mining corporations under protest to preserve rights to seek recovery if the tax is challenged in court. The AEGODA Copper Mining Company paid 286056.20 and eight smaller firms paid lesser amounts.

Adams Oil Co Begins Ice Harvest and New Warehouse Plans
The Adams Oil Co started the 1926 ice harvest this morning with ice eleven inches thick at the cutting site. Estimated output could reach 1100 tons if two crops are harvested. First crop will fill two local warehouses. a third warehouse may receive the second crop. Ice may be shipped in carload lots to Fairfield. Adams says a wholesale gasoline warehouse will be built on Milwaukee right of way at Division and Railroad streets behind the Beaupre Hotel, while the current location will remain for coal lubricating oil and fuel oil.
