Fairfield Farmer Converts Frosted Wheat To Big Pork Returns
J. F. Baker of Fairfield fed 1441 bushels of frosted wheat instead of selling 1500 bushels at 65 cents. His hog herd yielded 1943.86 dollars of pork with 810 dollars in hogs remaining, noting a net 1.35 dollars per bushel from the wheat and a savings on hauling. His records show eight bushels of wheat per 100 pounds of pork and a focused cost to produce a pound of pork.

Plans for Tractor School At Teton County High
Plans completed for a six week tractor school starting January at the Power Morgan implement building. Courses cover tractor operation, maintenance and repair with instructors including a local mechanic and two outside specialists. The Smith Hughes program funds the course with federal approval awaiting final board action.

The ranch home of County Commissioner Donald Kerr was entered last Thursday in his absence by a thief. Cash totaling 330.00, a suit of clothes, a bagpipe and Highland kitties were stolen. Undersheriff J L Billings investigated but found no definite clues, though tracks along the river may indicate the guilty parties.

About 125 Sunday school children, teachers, and parents attended a Christmas party at the Methodist church. Santa distributed gifts and food while carols were sung. Mrs. B. R. Kaem mer told a story, and five children from the primary and junior departments staged the tale with a named cast.
