Conrad won 29 to 14 over Teton in the later boys game as Christensen led Conrad with 16 points. Pioneer M Emaar Dies In Gap Country
Sandie M Emaar one of the first settlers in the T L Gap region died at 730 am Sunday at Deaconess hospital after three days illness from chronic nephritis and complications. Born in Holland September 19 1864 he moved to the United States about 35 years ago and settled in the Gap area circa 1905. His wife died years ago and they had no children. Funeral services are at 2 pm from Gospel Tabernacle with Rael G Roberts to conduct and interment in Chateau cemetery.

Msgr Victor Day in Choteau for Christmas Mass
Msgr Victor Day administrator of the Diocese of Helena arrived Monday night and stayed over Christmas as guest of Rev Fr JF Schulte and Rev Fr Jas Sheerin. He led the midnight Christmas Mass in Choteau and celebrated Mass at Bynum at 9 and 9 30. Day is familiar in Choteau and has served as administrator of the diocese on four occasions awaiting a new bishop’s consecration.

The Episcopal guild met Friday at Mrs. George Thompson home for a business social session with Christmas carols and a piano solo by Mrs. Millard Bullerdick. The county distributed 1935 high school funds totaling 31,965.53 through Inez Eckford. Friends Honor Mrs Martha Boutilier on 75th Birthday
Mrs. Martha Boutilier, 75, hosted about 115 guests at the Methodist church on her birthday to raise funds for the Ladies' Industrial. Early Morning Fire Damages Chateau Home
A Christmas morning blaze around 2 a.m. damaged the Holmes home, with the living room ruined and furnishings, woodwork, flooring, and rugs harmed. The fire, started in a davenport after the homeowners left town, was discovered after a neighbor reported it, and chemicals were used to extinguish it. The cause is uncertain but may involve a cigarette stub.

Funeral services were held at the Lutheran church in Farmington for Mathilda Thies Schoppe 89 who died Wednesday night at her son William Schoppe's home.
