Birthday club gathers at Johnson home for plans and prizes
The birthday club met Wednesday at the home of Mrs. Charles Johnson with Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Martin Asmus as hostesses. Cards were played and plans made for the Christmas party to be given on Thursday evening, Dec. 29. Prize awards were given Mrs. Louise Schaefer and Mrs. Julia Dirkes. Quentin Hilt returned home after visiting in Vancouver, Washington the past two weeks. Quentin's father is about the same and able to be around a little. Mr. Hilt suffered a stroke some time ago and has been confined to his home. Mr. and Mrs. Math Schaefer had Sunday dinner at the Mickey Schaefer home. Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Toenyes called at the Lyall Schaefer home Thursday evening.
