After a two day Indianapolis conference among operators miners and government officials the coal miners will return to work Friday. A three person commission will decide future raises and issues while Cha teau faces a severe fuel shortage prompting a city mass meeting and wood purchases to bridge supply until coal arrives. Death of Burton Bench Resident J W Willis 58
J W Willis aged 58 a Burton bench resident died at his home Saturday morning after long illness from hardening of the arteries. He is survived by his wife and 12 children four from a former marriage. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the M E church with Rev Stong officiating. Interment followed in Choteau cemetery.
