Teton county 4 H club members toured Chicago as guests of Milwaukee Railway Co for five days of sightseeing and education. The group included Leroy Gaare, Veda Thompson, Irene Proff, and Lydia Larsen among 1256 club members from the northwest. They visited Field Museum, the International Grain and Livestock Show, Swift & Co, Armour & Co, Lincoln Park Zoo, and attended banquets at Sherman Hotel and Congress Hotel before returning via Minneapolis.

Turkeys received by the Teton County Shipping Association near Chateau Montana sold for top prices with fancy toms at about 44.5 cents a pound and No 1 birds around 42.5 cents. About 41 000 pounds were bought by Hansen Packing Co of Butte for California lists while 17 000 dollars paid to growers.

County Treasurer Otto Wagnid announced November tax collections totaled 245 097 12 dollars including 215 781 20 dollars in 1926 taxes. Through September to November 1926 payments reach 28 752 44 dollars, about 57 percent of the year’s total. Nine month old Francis Solway, son of Mr and Mrs George Solway of Glacier Park, died last Saturday December 4 at Mrs Wm Black's home in Chateau after a brief illness. Burial was held Monday in Teton Canyon. He fell ill while visiting his mother, sister of Mrs Black.

Worker dies after blast injury at Sun River canyon dam project
L G Miller aged about 65 with Utah Construction Co died at Gray Hospital Great Falls after being struck by flying rocks from dynamite blasts during road widening near the Gibson dam site in Sun River canyon. He came from American Falls Idaho and the body remained at Conner undertaking rooms while officials sought word from superintendent A A Paddock. This was the first fatal accident at the canyon work.
