Montana town seeks federal aid for new Chateau hospital
The article explains federal grants may fund a 35 bed hospital with an expected $120000 build cost and $4000 for engineering. Montana towns could receive $242000 for 1946 47 under a five year grant program. Local hospital group aims to raise $15000 and asks Teton county residents to contribute promptly to secure aid. A Chateau hospital would attract doctors to live in town and reduce patient travel to distant hospitals.
