LeRoy A. Foot Dies in California at 72
LeRoy A. Foot 72 former Montana county attorney and brigadier general died Sunday in Sacramento California. A Masonic funeral was held in California. Foot served as Montana attorney general 1924 to 1932 and was Grand Master 1931 1932. He retired in 1953 as chief attorney for the Sacramento District Army Corps of Engineers. Survived by wife Clara P. Foot and two daughters.

Fairfield, Idaho 21 year old Oliver Wayne Rindal son of Mr and Mrs A O Rindal died after a brief illness. He was to be inducted into the army in Butte Monday. Autopsy showed acute pancreatic hemorrhage. Funeral at St Pauls Lutheran Fairfield with Rev E E Tollefson officiating. Burial at St Pauls Cemetery. Survived by three brothers and seven sisters. He was born January 30 1994 in Fairfield.

First Football Session Set For Tomorrow At Chateau High

Funeral services for Ralph Clayton age 68, a Bole area farmer, will be held at 2 pm Friday at Chateau Methodist church. He died Monday of a coronary ailment. Born August 29, 1886 in Mong county Kansas, he moved to Sedan county in 1910 and near Bole. He married Marie Caffery in 1942. she survives with a sister in Springville California and brothers in Plainview Texas and Santa Rosa California. Pallbearers include Emil Johnson and Lyle Standish among others. Rev. Grant Moore to officiate.

Bar sale to minor leads to $100 fine
Sheriff Tom Dellno charged Gar et Toren, bartender at the Wagon Wheel bar, with selling alcohol to a minor last Saturday. Toren pleaded guilty in Judge William Irwin's court yesterday and was fined $100 plus court costs. The case involved an 18 year old, County Attorney Leo H. Murphy said.
