Wool Growers Ballots Sent On Marketing Plan Vote
Te ton County wool growers received marked ballots to vote on a marketing agreement deducting one cent per pound from the 1955 clip incentive payment. Fairfield Youth Dominates Magpie Drive in County Contest
Phil Young of Fairfield captured first place by bringing 234 old magpies to the Magpie Drive in Teton county. He led the Teen Sportsmen's Association event, while another boy earned second with 184 birds and 109 eggs. Former Collins Man Found Dead at Dam
Turner Daughaday a former wheat rancher in the Collins Brady area and later a Montana resident for eight years was found dead near Diversion dam northwest of Augusta, likely from a heart attack. Funeral services were held in Great Falls with burial at Highland Cemetery. He had practiced dentistry in Kansas City before moving to Montana in 1912. His wife Edith died earlier that year. Survivors include sister Grace Daniel and cousin Ralph Daughaday of Kansas City.

Milton MecNea of the Chateau Drug announced this week that Herold Lund of Big Sandy has become an active member in the management of the local drug firm. Lund is a registered pharmacist and a 1964 graduate of the University of Montana at Missoula. He attended North Montana College at Havre and the State University, and was in the first class graduating under the five year School of Pharmacy program. He is a Grade School graduate of Cut Bank and Big Sandy high school. He and his wife Shirley have three sons, Matt Bret and Craig. They moved into the John Depner house in Cowgill addition across from the McNea home. Lund is a member of the Big Sandy Masonic lodge.
