July Temperatures Dip Below 1931 Averages
County agriculturist Robert Clarkson reports July average temperatures lower than 1931. Only two days exceeded 90 degrees, with a high of 94 versus 99 last year. July precipitation totaled 1.43 inches, seasonal four month total 7.14 inches, and August is expected to be dry with normal around one inch. Frost occurred in August in 1924 and 1930, with August mean running about 2 1/2 degrees cooler than July.
