Fairfield Men Sentenced for Hijacking and Assault
Three men from Fairfield and Bozeman pled guilty to a hijacking and assault in Bozeman last week. George Radcliffe 28 O L Hampton 40 and a third man were sentenced to three years at Deer Lodge state penitentiary after the victim was beaten and robbed of over 30 dollars. A farmer alerted authorities after seeing the assault and the police traced the car to Fairfield.

Juel Olson Dies After Fall From Windmill Near Fairfield
Juel Olson age 20 and Teton county high school class of 1937 graduate died after a fall from a windmill near Fairfield. He suffered a nervous breakdown while being cared for at home and broke his back in two places when he jumped from the windmill. He passed away in a Great Falls hospital Tuesday. Survivors include his parents Mr and Mrs Martin Olson a brother Myron Olson and a sister Mrs Francis Shaw of Fairfield. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
