County Commissioners Meet. Road, Health and Budgets Discussed
The regular meeting in March 1961 covered minutes, audits, and claims. The board approved payroll adjustments for January and set probation officer salary at 450 dollars monthly split between Teton and Pondera. Road requests from Sunny Slope area were reviewed and bids for gasoline and diesel awarded to Union Oil and Texaco. A sanitary appointment proposal was considered with an estimated 2500 dollars per county yearly. Warrant payments to numerous vendors and officials were approved.
