Sugar beet association forms in Farming ton area
About 25 farmers met at Farming ton hall to form a sugar beet association. Cecil Passmore was elected director to work with others from Fairfield Greenfield Crowe Vaughn and Simms. W. Madsen of Great Falls outlined expansion plans for 1939 while stressing land prep and soil improvement through alfalfa or sweet clover as essential steps before planting.

Nick Vlinker reported the Northern Montana Hereford Breeders sale in Great Falls last week was very successful. He sold two registered bulls, Emil Durr and Savik and Larson, and H L Halladay and Sons sold six. Several county buyers including J W Kerr and Wm Broere of Farmington purchased breeding stock.

Large turnout at third county 4-H spring rally
Over 500 4-H members leaders and families attended the third all county 4-H club spring rally at Teton County High School.
