Dairy Producers May Apply for First Quarter Payments
Dairy producers may apply for dairy production payments for the first quarter of 1945 starting April 1 and through May 31 by presenting milk production sales records for January February and March to the county AAA office at Chateau. Roy F. Morgan explains payments will be quarterly to save administrative costs. Eligible producers receive 60 cents per hundredweight on whole milk and 10 cents per pound on butterfat.

Jim Underwood Earns Air Medal for Meritorious Aerial Flight
Flight Officer James E. Underwood, 20, of Choteau Montana, received the Air Medal for meritorious achievement in aerial flight while serving with a heavy bomber crew in Italy. He is an aerial navigator with a B 24 Liberator squadron that has flown over 200 long range missions. He graduated from Teton County High School in 1943 and entered the Air Corps on September 4 1943. He trained at Monroe Louisiana and was last stationed in Casper Wyoming.

Bynum Man Among Noted Army Bridge Builders
