Howard Named To Abilene Post
Gerald Howard, storekeeper for Lone Star Gas, has accepted a plant engineer position with the Abilene gas company. He will move Wednesday, leaving his wife and two children in Childress until settlement. Howard, seven years with Lone Star Gas, includes three in Childress, has been active in the Lions Club, Jaycees, American Legion, and chairs the Camping and Activities Committee of the District Boy Scouts. Replacement in Childress not learned Saturday.
