Mrs. Leona Hicks 86 of Denton dies in a Denton hospital. Funeral services set for 4 p.m. today at Schmidt Funeral Chapel with burial in Argyle cemetery. She was born February 23 1890 and married Bob McLean in 1906. later married Jim Hicks in 1958. Survivors include a daughter Mrs. Grover Wallace a son George McLean seven granddaughters including Mrs. Edwin Wyatt and Mrs. Nell Abram one grandson 22 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren plus daughter in law Agnes McLean. She was predeceased by four sons Bert Hoyt Jess and Pat McLean.

Driver Injured In One Car Mishap In Childress
Police report Robert V. Freeby of 105 Ave H Se was admitted to Childress General Hospital with head and face injuries after his 1961 Dodge ran out of control between 8th Street and Avenue F Northwest.
