Shamrock Tractor-Trailer Crash Kills Fort Worth Couple
A tractor-trailer swerved to miss a horse five miles north of Shamrock Texas and exploded in flames. Elmer Rodgers 29 and Joyce Rodgers 30 of Fort Worth were trapped and died in the burning rig owned by Thomas Conveyor Co. of Burleson. The horse was injured. Ken M. Fink son of Mr and Mrs Kenneth Fink of Childress was found dead in his Santa Monica room this morning. He worked for McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft and an autopsy was ordered. Born October 6 1935 in Childress he had spent the last two weeks visiting his parents and left Sunday.
