Pastor Mullen resigns from Central Christian Church Chilcrest

Dallas Attorney Faces Murder Charge Over Ranch Foreman
Norman Hamilton, a Dallas attorney and father of A USA William Hamilton, says he remembers nothing of the killing of Clarence Bethke, his ranch foreman, shot in the kitchen of Hamilton’s home. Hamilton was arrested after a car accident and initially charged with drunk driving, later upgraded to Bethke’s murder. Sheriff Royal cited a revolver found at the ranch and described Hamilton as severely intoxicated and claiming animals were after him. Hamilton is detained at Holt Hospital and Clinic.

Rites set for W H Davis former Childress resident
Funeral services for William H. Davis will be held at 3 oclock Tuesday at Trinity Baptist Church Amarillo with Rev Glen Norman and Dr Clifton Tennison officiating. Burial follows in Childress cemetery. Davis farmed in Childress County from 1908 to 1933 before moving to Amarillo where he resided. Survivors include son Homer Davis of Amarillo and seven daughters living in Amarillo Crescent City Los Angeles Kirkland and other California locations.
