Public broadcasting faces critical reception for Polopoly show
AP reviewer Cynthia Lowry calls Polopoly too little and too late as Sander Vanocur and Robert MacNeil earn annual salaries of 85000 and 65000. The piece notes NBC Ironside gains ratings after a Dean Martin Show boost and CBS leads with All in the Family. ABC proposes reducing nonprogram material to 11 minutes per hour.
